The Township of Smith-Ennismore-Lakefield is situated in the heart of the Kawartha Lakes Region; and is the largest geographic Township of the County of Peterborough.  The Township is largely a rural community, with three distinct urban centres, those being Lakefield, Bridgenorth and Ennismore.
